WOW air has announced that they will end their operation from today 28.march 2019. All WOW AIR flights have been cancelled. This will effect some of our clients. We therefore want to inform you about what possibilities there are to find another flight to/through Iceland.
WOW air have had approximately around 30% market share of all flights to Keflavík (KEF) international airport, so we presume that this will effect 1/3 of each passenger that have booked a flight ticket & visiting Iceland in the next 12 months.
There are today around 10 international airlines flying to Iceland in the current period. The amount of international airlines flying to KEF international airport during the summer months (high season) are around 25. Many of them are flying to the same destinations as WOW air were flying to.
