Itinerary
Passengers are picked up at the port in Reykjavík.
Departure is aprox. 40 min. after arrival of the Cruise Ship.
This tour starts in Reykjavík where we pick you up from your cruise ship at the port. We make a few stops in Reykjavik and the surrounding towns, including Hallgrimskirkja church, the Bessastaðir presidential residence and the Viking Village.
We then make our way towards the peninsula which is a UNESCO Global Geopark, known for its diverse volcanic and geothermal activity. There we will visit seltún geothermal area, Lake Kleifarvatn and then take a lunch break in the fishing village of Grindavík.
After lunch we´ll make a quick stop at the world famous Blue Lagoon before heading to the impressive and colourful Gunnuhver hot spring. We then visit Iceland’s oldest lighthouse, Reykjanesviti before finally driving to the Bridge between the Continents, where you can see how the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates are drifting apart, right under our feet.
We then return to the ship.
