Coming to Scoresby Sund area is a special experience any time of the year. This August, however, a special surprise was waiting at Kap Tobin. Just a short distance from the house a polar bearfamily settled. The mother polar bear with her cub was rather curious at first and came almost to the house at sight of the new visitors, but decided to keep a safe distance after a few warning shotsin the air.
Here are few photos of the bears and the nature of East Greenland in August.
