Akureyri
In the blizzard on Friday one could hardly see between the houses at times. The weather calmed down over night and we woke up to a different day on Saturday. All white with sun breaking throughthe clouds.
Snow ploughs have been working all day long, the main streets are clear, but many of the side streets are still waiting for their turn.
As the sun cleared the clouds I took a drive to Kjarnaskógur forest and through the valley of Eyjafjörður. Perfect day for a short excursion.
