In Ash Wednesday costume
The youngsters in Akureyri celebrated the day in style. Dressed up in colourful and imaginative costumes they strutted their stuff through the town, visiting shops, offices and other businesses,singing their hearts out for sweets and treats.
Harðfiskur (dried codfish) was on offer from Nonni Travel much to the kids’ delight.
