Early morning on Thursday 27th June a group of Slovenians boarded Adria Airways aircraft for the flight direct to Akureyri. After landing they all started their tour of Iceland by a tree-plantingevent, where each of the passengers got the chance to add to the reforestation of Iceland. Eirikur Björgvinsson, the mayor of Akureyri addressed the assembly and all guests were offered arefreshment of coffee and traditional Icelandic “kleina”, enjoying the good weather.
After a job well done everybody continued the travel according to their pre-arranged plans.
