A Northern lights selfie
This autumn the weather in North Iceland has been extremely good and we have had some of most fantastic northern lights evenings the first two weeks in October and most of the days in November. Clear skies are naturally the best for observing Aurora Borealis. However, the right amount of low clouds can create amazing effects as well.
Well, camera is always ready for another night trip, either driving out into the countryside where electric lights are sparse, but on some occassions even just stepping out of the door was enough to admire the dancing northern lights.
