Itinerary
The adventure begins at our main base where we gear up and get to know the ATV’s/Quad’s. You will receive all the necessary gear and a short safety briefing before venturing out to ride on Iceland’s iconic black beaches. The guide will lead the group to the stunning coastline to witness breathtaking views of the surrounding area. You’ll have stunning views of the ocean and Dyrhólaey, the southernmost tip of the country, and Mýrdalsjökull glacier. After taking in all these beautiful sights,we head to the famous Sólheimasandur plane wreck and then finally we drive to the river Jökulsá and up to the foot of Mt. Heiðarhorn. Along the mountains we head back to the base.
On this tour you can get in touch with the raw black lava sand landscape of the south coast. It’s an unforgettable experience of conflicting landscapes where nature envelops the traveler in its warm embrace.

- Warm first and/or mid layer clothing, e.g. a warm sweater
Please note: A valid driver’s license is required to drive a quad bike. Single riders and groups with odd numbers are required to book a single ride ATV, at extra cost.
